Choose one main visit
Book Pena if it is your priority, or build the day around Regaleira and the historic centre. Visiting every palace leaves little room for queues or transfers. Our suggested pace is one major morning visit and one flexible afternoon stop.
Allow time beyond the train
Check the service from your chosen Lisbon station with CP. Reaching Sintra station is only the first part. The palace hill needs onward transport and walking time; follow official access guidance rather than assuming parking at Pena.
Read each ticket
Pena, Regaleira and transport are separate purchases unless a product explicitly combines them. The National Palace is in the historic centre; Monserrate is farther away. Save booking instructions and allow lunch time. If the morning runs late, shorten the afternoon instead of risking another timed entry.
