Begin in the historic centre
Use Baixa, Chiado and an Alfama walk as the first cluster. Choose one paid interior or cultural stop, leaving room for lunch and a viewpoint. A route you can comfortably finish is more useful than a long attraction list.
Separate the waterfront days
Belém works for monuments and museums; Parque das Nações offers the Oceanário and another waterfront setting. Both involve travel from the historic centre. Check your attraction’s current access arrangements before making the journey.
Spend where it matters
Compare individual tickets with a city pass using only places you will actually visit. Include transfer time in that comparison. Walks, cafés and viewpoints can fill parts of the day without another admission. Check our transport-and-prices reference before choosing a ticket product.
