Time Out Market is at Mercado da Ribeira in the Cais do Sodré area, not Terreiro do Paço. It offers several food choices together. A food hall and a produce market are different experiences, so check the hours for the part you intend to visit.
Order for your appetite
A bifana, soup or savoury pastry can be quicker than a full restaurant meal. Ask about ingredients, portion size and sides. When sharing several dishes, add up the cost first: small plates do not necessarily make a small bill.
Make it part of the route
Use a market as a meal break near your sightseeing. Carry a payment alternative and keep belongings close in busy spaces.
