Choose a collection
Start with art, design, history or a family-focused attraction. The Gulbenkian Museum, MAAT and Coach Museum offer different experiences and are not in the same neighbourhood. Read the current programme before choosing a ticket.
Group your visits
Pair a Belém museum with the waterfront, or give another collection its own half-day. Avoid spending more time in transfers than galleries. Keep one nearby alternative if the exhibition you wanted is unavailable, and leave room for a meal between substantial visits.
Check what is open now
The Gulbenkian reports reopening on 18 July following renovation. Use current visitor information rather than an old closure notice. Opening days, temporary exhibitions, access and concessions vary by institution. Do not assume a universal Sunday discount or free entry applies to every visitor.
